** Why a Game-a-Thon?
Nationally, Abortion Funds gather in April to compete in bowl-a-thons, but New Orleans Abortion Fund was turned away from the popular local bowling alley because they would not support this cause. Undeterred, they got creative and instead brought this fierce competition and thirst for reproductive justice to Shamrock for a beer/ping-pong, billiards, darts, and games tournament. Of course, there will be costumes and prizes!
** What do I have to do?
Players who have raised $30 or more will get a tournament gamecard to play! Or you can form a team with 3 (or more) people and set a team goal.

** Why should I join?
NOAF clients need you! Since they began making pledges in April 2013, NOAF has assisted over 1,000 people from throughout the Gulf Coast in accessing abortion care. Because of generous support from foundations for their overhead costs, 100% of Game-a-Thon donations goes to their clients.
Your voice can help bring down abortion stigma! Many of us have walked for a cause or raced for the cure. Playing for choice, talking to our friends and family about the need for abortion funds, and raising awareness about the restrictions facing patients is a powerful way to bring about change.
